EOE 7

We have been focusing recently on heat loss.  To understand heat loss, we have been learning about the particle theory, conduction, convection, radiation, respiration, and evaporation.

We're going to be moving on to speaking about clothing and how to plan for our varying weather that we see in Calgary and in the mountains.

Recently, students have been working through day trip planning.  What might be items that are helpful to pack and how to prepare for properly.  For each unit we work through, we will try to identify a common injury and how to do basic first aid for it.  For our day trip planning, we have been working through how to tape a rolled ankle.  Below is a link to an excellent video on how to tape an ankle.  Remember, we are not doing continuous figure 8 to heel locks.  Continue to watch the end of the video where it shows how to do them separately.
